When operations begin, employees will be transferred little by little from the current warehouse in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat to the new center. “We have more than 300 employees in these facilities in Barcelona,” he continues.

Rodríguez also highlights that the new facility will show UPS’ commitment to reducing the environmental impact of its operations. Thus, it ensures that it is the first installation of the company in Europe certified to comply with LEED energy efficiency standards.
